Northwestern Memorial Hospital Prentice Stone Pavilion required “Corrective Action” maintenance program for the exterior building façade.

• O&S Associates developed the 2007 program consisting of the erection of temporary sidewalk protection canopies at the South, East and West elevations, hand tool removal of loose concrete debris and mechanical corrosion removal of exposed steel reinforcing, installation of an epoxy-modified, anti corrosive coating to areas of concrete/reinforcing steel deterioration and the removal/replacement of the perimeter window sealants.

• This program was developed to mitigate potential falling-debris hazard and shall satisfy the City of Chicago, DOB cycle requirements for the “Maintenance of Exterior Walls and Enclosures”
